Updates, Reconstructing, and Simplicity

Hello everybody, it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted here. I no longer have the domain aenigmaarts.com and aenigma-arts.com as I don't have the energy to maintain a domain that I no longer need or use. I apologize for not posting an update about what is going on for so long, but I'm still busy in general offline and still having difficulties deciding on what to do with maintaining my (very little) internet presence. I neglect it because it has very little benefit to me.

Time flies very quickly for me, and as I get older I feel more overwhelmed with social media specifically. I also get confused easily as there are so many options and yet I feel like there is actually no choice at all... all platforms have their pros and cons but in the end I mostly see redundancy.

I still have Instagram but I am no longer active there as I have nothing to post there and the site is mostly ads. I've also always felt uncomfortable using it due to it being owned by Facebook...

My DeviantART is deactivated as I no longer use it. It was a hard decision as I've been a member there since I was an early teen and used it as an archive for my old art but I also remember never liking the platform as it led me away from Side7.

There are so many social platforms these days but none suit me. I hate making new or having multiple accounts as it's hard to keep track and maintain, it's annoying and feels ridiculous. Everything looks like junk to me at this point... and yes I sound like a grumpy old fart at this point but really, do these things REALLY matter?

• Still have Instagram for now; rarely post
• Don't have reliable social media I can rely on, but I have this site
• E-mail is the best means of communication for me
• Planning to reconstruct this site
• Still working on Aenigma Essentia
• My aim is simplicity
